- Changed: Website Popup are only shown in topup pop if in white-list, otherwise in a normal IE Window (to prevent problems with some sites like: Framebuster Code, some Flash-content,...)
White-List at the Moment: imdb, themoviedb.org

If you click on the movie card an imdb link this site is opened in the popup. On the actor card the link is opened in the html card itself - no popup and no newwindow! |

That is on purpose, that card doesn't have this useless ballast. |

Hello Prinz
Every update since New Page Preferences Option: Cover Display (Separate/Switch)May 1st update. Your moviecard page does not display anything below fanart and the Preferences link don't work for me. Im on xp with ie8. It's seems to be the general functions js, if i use the one from card-episode-col date 30/04/11 everthing is fine. I am missing something in my version of IE 8(8.0.6001.18702) which i think is up to date.
If i rollback to the general functions that worked i lose what you've done for the actor card. Plus any other updates you've done.
Thanks Tony

Do you have downloaded and copied the whole zip that Prinz has posted? For me it works like a charm! And I have XP/IE8, too. |

You just replaced the general function js and nothing else?
And the Front/Back-Cover are shown?
That can't be because the Front/Back-Cover is added by the general fucntion js... If the 2 Covers are shown you have a old movie_bigcover.htm |

I unzip and copy over everything to my extreme movie manager folder (all updates). When i done some testing to find out what has changed in each update i found it was only the general functions js(from 1/05/11 - onwards) that was blanking (i could post screen if you want) your card. If i replace it with the one from 30/4/11,everything below fanart comes back. So there must be something on my system that it doesn't like.
Only movie_bigcover card is effected by these updates, my custom card and others are working. Here's the weird thing, on win 7 with IE 9 it is working fine.(I'm testing win 7 on dual boot to see if i like it,can't pull myself away from xp).
It's not a major problem as i use my own custom card with your wonderful changes incorporated. It's a pity the program can't use a different browser other than the s**t IE.
Tony.
P.s as a test incase there is something of mine in the folders conflicting, i will delete both Moviecards and Mycollectioncard folders replacing them with your latest update and see what happens. I can put the stuff back my card needs afterwards. |

- Added a function that tries to match the filmography tab with the movies in database tab on the Actors Card (On filmography tab a possible match will added as (DB-Match: Movie Tile) after the Title)
This only works if the match is 100%!

I thing that could be improved is also try the Original-Title, but for that Ale has to add the Original-Title Variable to the Movies in Database on the Actors Card: _MOVIE_ACTOR_ORIGINALTITLE_ |

*lol* I just wanted to write the same ;) Additionally to that to compare the AKAs
Also a thing I recognized: Adding a movie out of the filmography doesn't check if it's a movie or a serie. I haven't had a look yet of how the filmo is saved, but IMDB a.e. provides if it's a movie or a serie... |

Parsing that for each movie and comparing would take much to long. Already additionally testing the Original-Title would double the time...

Only a Link is added to filmography of an Actor in the Databse, there is no field for movie/tv show. |

I think that Original Title or the AKAs would be enough. For me as example the "normal" title isn't practicable as I have all movies in german but the actors completely from imdb imported.
If not to change database for filmography we could add "Add as TVShow" to newmovie.htm. |

I just found a Bug in the Function to add a Movie from the Filmography.
Special Chars and even some normal Chars in Titles are wrongly handled and not escaped correctly. That also results in wrongly displayed titles.
Example:
Actress: Jennifer Garner http://akas.imdb.com/name/nm0004950
Filmography: Dude, Where's My Car? (2000)
The problem is the char: ?
So it's displayed as: Dude, Where's My Car
Rest of the Title is missind and of course the javascript function to add the movie to the database or even to open the website doesn't work because the program replaces the ? with an |
I think that is a bug in the magicscript function: #ADDFILMOGRAPHY# because it's already wrong in the database after the import of the actress:
#§Dude, Where's My Car| (2000)|http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0242423/§IMDB.COM (Complete).txt#
correct would be:
#§Dude, Where's My Car? (2000)|http://akas.imdb.com/title/tt0242423/|IMDB.COM (Complete).txt# |
