Hi Alessio,
I use XMM from one of the first versions.
I have Popcorn and TviX Players and I use new plug-in for NMT to generate music library and backgrounds. To make this for my TviX, I use this program - "Movie GUI Builder"

Program is free and will be great if you make new plug-in with it.
