I does take that long. First of all the maximum download speed is restricted on imdb.com to load a html page. So with the exception of a very slow connection, you don't have any advantage with a very fast connection.
Then with TV-Shows you load for every Episode (almost) the same amount of pages as the main page. (main page, combined page, business page, trivia page, goofs page, quotes page, all actor pages, ...) The Data also has to be
That are easily a few 100 or even a few 1000 pages (depending on how many episodes the TV Show has) to load for every TV Show, that takes time...
The IMDB.COM(TV Show) Script is only for someone who wonts as much information as possible and doesn't care about the time it takes to download.
Of course you can deactivate many things in the Advanced Options that reduces the time to import. |

Hello Guys,
I have modify and upload the new Script.
Now if the movie has the IMDB Link saved (Custom8) it automatically take it as directlinks, because many people scan HD in search for movies and load the IMDB link from NFO files (without write the title and year).
With this modify the script will not compare anymore the title and year if the Custom8 contains data, it just check that the webpage is IMDB.

- fixed birthdate import (because of imdb changes day and month weren't imported anymore)
- Added new Advanced Option [Match Year Directlink Engine] (Now you can choose if the Year should be matched or not)
- Added a more [Number of Actors to import] Options: 4;8;12;25;50;99;999

Just like i said: With your general searches (without Filter for TV Shows) you get also other things as TV Shows and these Results would make problems with the Script.
And i think it's not to much to ask to enter the correct Title in the Database. |

Okay, I thought of using the general search only if there is a special char in search term or if there are no results...
But as there are only very few series with special chars (I personally know only Carnivale) it's useless to start a further modification for ;) |
