Wow talk about fast getting a new one out. I wasn't done with my test scripts for 15 yet. Jeez. LOL

I'm working the functionality side not so much the view side at this point. So for that side.....

1. Chains work much better and smoother.
2. I love the background update. It takes a little getting used to that you add movies and whoosh it's out there before you can sip coffee.
3. IMDB Complete Script. Thinking these haven't been totally updated yet this problem might be self correcting when we get there. Taking all actors 999 and doing the update if you rerun it a second time you get more actors. Also noticed it's not checking existing since I have actors with 2 numbers and same picture and name. This confused me a little cause I thought the number was their IMDB number. I had 47 duplicates on five movies.
4. I've done a stress test importing 1700 movies and 2414. First I would comment somewhere someone said they missed not seeing the cover when asked to pick. That's probably a valid point especially if the idea is get people to convert. Once I got past that and a cup of coffee, everything ran very smoothly and quicker. I like the idea of doing a save to the database every now again and probably has done that before just never saw the window flash. Good for beginners using the package. I'm working on stats to send.
5. Noticed the old and new data in the script engine is back to not being right in that old data is not the current movie it's updating. That made me wonder if the right record was being correctly updated.
6. One of my friends suggested a change to main webpage and saying something like buy now and this includes all updates and new releases. We are currently in development programming and testing with lots of new addons. (Might as well brag =)) His thought was there are some packages he's bought where you get updates to the current version not new releases and shows how dedicated you are to working it and would be a great marketing tool.

It's coming along great. Back to stess testing.

Like a coming attraction which fits the theme of movie database. I'm learning a lot which will help with the documentation. Now that I'm up with 16 I'm working the stress test looking for quirks. 16 is quicker and not sure what tweak you did to kickstart but that is much faster starting with little or no lag. Script Engine is working much faster now too. For me and maybe cause I'm in the US, I added 10 movies and off they went updating with the IMDB complete script and it's taking a right at a minute and half per movie to download everything. Script Status is a little hard to watch as its moving so fast. The screen flashing has gone away. Don't know what caused it but good it's gone.

The perfect gift for your movie buff. Don't forget the holidays are coming. =)

You're doing a great job. I think people will be impressed with what you're working on.
