I've noticed the following problem on some movies. I mainly use IMDB scripts to import movie details. When the script engine looks for a specific movie that I type in, it cannot locate it although what I'm looking is pretty obvious. So, I type in "Max", get the list but the movie I need is not listed. If I search the IMDB web site directly I can easily locate it and it's the first one actually in the list. But the title is "Max (2002/I)". If I type this in XMM it will locate the movie but if I don't specify the year and quarter it won't be able to locate the specific one. I think I had a similar problem with the musical Cats. It seems that XMM or the IMDB scripts get confused in some cases by the additional movie title details over web sites. Any way to overcome this?
And one more thing. Is there any way to delete actors without importing their details and not have them reappear back in the Never Web-Imported list? Or can I exclude actors I don't want to import details for, from the Never Web-Imported list? Thanks!
I have a similar problem which I am sure is new. Previously, if I had "Wing Commander" as a title and set it off to look at IMDB with the default script I would get back exact matches Wing Commander (1999) Wing Commander (1977) Wing Commander (1990) (VG) which makes it easy to select the correct one. Now I just get 3 lines saying "Wing Commander" and I have to look it up in IMDB myself to decide which is the correct one. How can I get back to the original script that did this?!
Well, the problem should be addressed. Changing to another script is not a direct solution but play around by setting another one as your default one to locate the non problematic.
Alessio, a nice addition also would be if the Import Movie window could accept manually an address for downloading details not just items available in the list.
