I think it would be good to have a topic where improvements can be posted. Let me start here: I would appreciate it I had an option for the image to use it's original size (in the normal / moviecard / thumbnail view). Sure, for movie posters it's useless most of the time, but I've got a collection of TV-shows and screencaps for those, and they look - due to the 4:3 - all messed up. Would that be possible?
...we are currenly deep in the NEW XHTML-DB features!
...and we will support 1 JavaScript function in moviecards which will be called from the ENGINE after EVERY CHANGE of data! (THIS is what your function eg NEEDS)
THIS function HAS TO BE EXACTLY in the following form =
Hi, sorry to be a bore. I was just wondering how I would have to modify my script to work with the new Htmldb so that the stars would work! I have tried changing the original function so it is in the same format as the one you have listed above BUT it still doesn't work! :( Cheers Oh and I have to say that the new database is an Immense improvement on the old one.. Which I thought was brilliant anyway. ESPECIALLY the ability to list the films in various orders.
@all sorry for beeing away from the forum for so long... (my last mainboard has quit its job... and the brand new one made some trouble at first too)
"...but HOW did you finish the new HTML-DB then?" => A friend of mine has lend me his computer to finish the job!
@Akira sorry that I can't teach you JavaScript here! (this is a eMM forum and NO CODING-CORNER!)
...the only thing I can point you to is: WATCH the moviecards 10-14 = there you will find a "correct" (W3C DOM-standard) "afterUpdate()" function...
...and thanks a lot for such a nice feedback! =>"Oh and I have to say that the new database is an Immense improvement on the old one.. Which I thought was brilliant anyway. ESPECIALLY the ability to list the films in various orders."
which is done with the SMALLEST DATA-OVERHEAD POSSIBLE! ...hehehe
so long... and if you have trouble with finding good JavaScript related sites => send me a mail and I will point you to some!
