after finishing importing all my movies plus all the infos i need i wanted to start my dvds from my hdds (right click -> play movie -> movie file or just f9).
it worked with the first 2 movies and then with no other one. later checked the first 2 again and they didnt work either!
but if i doubleclick the icon normally all works, so it has to be something with XMM.
this was THE MAIN reason why i bought this software...to open files directly from my movie list |

Hi,
Please tale a look at the "Movie Files" Fields : are these fields empty or not?

no, the field is not empty. the path of the file is in there!
as i told, it worked twice and then never again! :(( |

I haven't forget you 
I am unable to reproduce the problem. I have make some test but all works correctly here.
I am trying another "way" for launch the movies, I hope to finish it for the next release and this should definitely work.

just an idea - dont know if u can do it after putting so much work in the files area with the associated players - but why dont u just open the files. i mean the files are associated via windows with several players. so why do work when u can simply set a command for opening the file instead of connecting it with players.
just my 2 cents |

hi allessio,
first of all: great job on the new 4.0 releases.
but my "open dvd file directly from xmm" still dont work. if i try it with the media center alpha version i get 2 zoom player apps started but no playback.
then i tried it with the xmm movie launcher plugin and it worked and still works! :)
but i dont like the user interface there...only covers :)
i hope u can fix it or tell me a solution
did u forget our last conversation? with the windows associations? (see 2 postings above) |
