Question out to anyone.....Is there a method of creating my own skins ie: adding different colour skins that match the Page Preference colour schemes. The choice is really limited at the moment

I don't think that you can make the skins your own. Only for the shelves (view).
In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.
