Hi.
I was making one movie manager of my own, but a friend of mine show me EMM and i kinda like it ;).
something that i was developing that could improve the EMM:
1- on the mass file add, you can include some code that analize the files to know if a movie was 2 ou more files.
you can do it by counting the words on the file and compare them statisticly with another file.
Example: if 70% of the words in two files are matched then its most likley that both files belong to the same movie.
it's not 100% accurate but works most of the times.
2- plugins are very usefull this days. If you release some documentacion and implement some sort of way to dynamicly include others dll (third party or not) to EMM, i'm shure that you'll conquer much more people.
3- with ODBC you could easly connect to any DBMS.
4- the topic 1 on this sugestion could also work with subtitles files.
