Hi,

needed to use webid instead of movie title search for an arbitrary title. since then i can not retrieve any movie info using any script anymore. webid is preselected for mode 1 and 2 and i get a barely visible error message and search just hangs without retrieving results! (Message: Can't Update. The movie has no direct connection to a web page)...

Please HELP!!!

Hi,

You need not only the webID for use the option 1 or 2, but you need also a Script in the field "Script Used", this because the engine must know what script have you use the first time.

If you haven't you can manually add it in this field and try to use the option 1 or 2.

Please let me know if you have problems.

Alessio

I get no movie info retrieved anymore with not a single script as it always wants the webid now but I want to search for movie TITLE!!! What is wrong - how can I switch back to MOVIEID???

Now I have to search first on imdb and then insert that number - nothing else works!!!

Try this:
1) Open up the import window and see what is selected on the "Engine Configuration" tab. Make sure that none of the three alternatives at the bottom (UPDATE MODE1, UPDATE MODE2, UPDATE MODE3) are selected because then it needs a "web id" since they are only for updating.

Click the link to see a fullsize picture.

2) When you have unchecked those click "Apply Changes".
3) Go back to the "Normal Mode" tab and try to import again.

Does that work?

Thanks a lot FreaKBrother!!!

It never appeared to me to unselect all update modes - this was exactly the problem - thanks so much - everything is normal now!
