1. When I import a file witch has a name with periods instead of spaces, it would be nice if EMM could change it back to spaces.
Example:
The.New.Movie.That.I.Have.(2004).avi
would be imported to
The New Movie That I Have (2004)
Would save me ALOT of time when adding files.
2. It would also be nice if it would 'clean up' the file name and make the first letters in a word uppercase. If it also recognised 'small' words like 'and' & 'the' and kept them lowercase that would be just super!!
Example:
the.new.movie.of.the.man.and.woman.(2004).avi
would be imported to:
The New Movie of the Man and Woman (2004)
3. Could it also movie any 'The' at the beginning of the title, towards the end?
Example:
the.new.movie.of.the.man.and.woman.(2004).avi
would be imported to:
New Movie of the Man and Woman, The (2004)
4. Could it also reconize things in the filename like 'Dvd-rip' or 'vhs' or 'vcd' and have a sepparate field for that called 'Source' for example?
5. Recognize svcd .mpeg leanght?
I spend alot of time correcting all these things in the titles, after I've added them, and it shouldn't be extremeley hard to add these features..? |

Hi John,
Should be quite easy to do, I think that can be done for the next release.
I will add this feature in the "MASS Files add" and in the "MASS CD/DVD add"

Tnx for implenting these things Alessio.
In the 'Change all periods to spaces' box, there should also be underscore '_' included. So that also
The_New_Movie_That_I_Have_(2004).avi
would be imported to
The New Movie That I Have (2004)
The 'Cancel' button doesn't work.
I'd very much like it however if the options in this 'title cleaning and renaming' box was also present when you add a new movie and read a file, in the 'Browser' box.
If you could put it under the file selection.. where it says:
[]Set title of movie as filename
[]Delete old values
[]Do not sum
[]Calculate MD5
and add the otions:
[]Change periods and underscore into spaces
[]Put all words in uppercase
[]Keep small words
[]Put 'The' at end...
Or alternativly just have a
[]Set title of movie as filename
[]Clean up filename
[]Delete old values
[]Do not sum
[]Calculate MD5
And configure how you'd like to have it cleaned up in the 'Configuration'. |
