Client Objects & Events

var subtitles="30 July 1998 (Australia) (default release date)";
var En="<IMG src='moviecards/cortex mod(modified_By_Q)/US.gif' border='0' align='absbottom' height='14' alt='English'> ";
var Se="<IMG src='moviecards/cortex mod(modified_By_Q)/SE.gif' border='0' align='absbottom' height='14' alt='Swedish'> ";
var Ro="<IMG src='moviecards/cortex mod(modified_By_Q)/RO.gif' border='0' align='absbottom' height='14' alt='Romanian'> ";

if (subtitles.search(/EN/i)!= -1){
document.all.subtitles.insertAdjacentHTML("AfterEnd",En); Code breaks here
}

This is the error I get when extreme movie manager allows Microsoft Development Environment to open.

An Exception of type Microsoft Jscript runtime error ''document.all.subtitles' is null or not an object' was not handled

When I close MDE your program crashes because of that error

If you need more information you have my email address

The problem appears on many different movie cards.
I'm using default at the moment and it just crashed on
Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino when I clicked on Christopher Carley's name
I usually use IMDB Fulltext to update but sometimes I use Amazon.com for Cover Pictures

The problem occurs at mostly random times

Thank you for listening

I just deleted the movie and closed the database
When I put the movie back in using IMDB and amazon.com the problem persists

Hi,

I have try to reproduce the error. I have add in the database Gran Torino movie, with IMDB Full, but everything is OK.

If I have understand correctly you have problems with Actors, not with Movie, right?

Please try to delete Christopher Carley's and reimport it again.

Let me know,

Ale

I have found several actors in XMM that cause the crash.
Deleting them & re-importing them fixes the problem.
If I find too many I'll start from the beginning.
Thank you for your help & thank you for a fabulous program.
