Just upgraded to 7.0.3.8 from 6. Every time the app starts up I receive a popup that says.

Could not load file or assembly 'System.EnterpriseServices, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=xxxxxxxxxxxx' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

I was able to open and convert my database, but I cannot see any off my movies in the list.

You did the standard scan for virus's etc? Open Event viewer ...right click My computer>manage and look under event viewer to see if there are any other errors showing up.
Generally a reinstall of the application will correct any errors.
NOW, make sure you install with admin rights and you don't get any errors....and if you install it with the admin acct try to run it with the admin acct.
Make sure you have a copy of your database backed up before playing and if worst comes to worst, uninstall the app, reboot and reinstall fresh :-)
A Missing file reference generally just requires a reinstall......

Yep, done all that. Running Win XP as an admin account. Multiple rebppt and multiple uninstalls and reinstalls.

Oh and a google search shows that the error is with a .Net 2.0 file. .Net 2.0 is installed and current.

hmmm, well, if they think the error is because of a net 2.0 problem, lets uninstall and reinstall that?

A repair or .Net 2.0 as described in the link appears to have done the trick.

Thanks!
