If I click the director of a movie I see his details plus a list of his films in my database.

If I then click the Folder Icon to edit his details I usally see those of an apparantly random actor.

This does not happen all the time though - I have seen a few where it works ok - possibly where the Director is also an actor?

how do you open the director? I was going to try to duplicate your problem to see if I could but I would like to do it the same way :-)

When I select a film the diector's name is highlighted like each of the actor's (I'm using the movie.htm view)
Clicking on his name opens the actor.htm screen

Grid View (which is the one I always use)
Card View
Carousel View
Advance Banded Grid
I need some guidance to get to where you are :-)

I'm on Quick Edit View - this was the default when I first installed the program

well, in card view works like a charm... click a movie, get the info, click on director get the director info plus all the movies by that director...

if you need to edit the director's details, just click on the edit actor icon (top right of card)
