Thank you very much for version 7 of eXtreme Movie Manager. The first impressions are very good, especially the free definable layout is very practical.
However, I noticed a few things. Some of them are so obvious that they are perhaps no bugs, but errors in my system:
1. If I edit a movie in the "Quick Edit View", the changes are not saved. They are only saved when I make the changes with the function "Edit".
2. The media list is empty ... I can not choose anything.
3. Window positions are not completely saved. The windows (TreeView, Picture View, Main Grid, Quick Edit View etc) remain approximately at their positions, but sometimes change their width and that is annoying.
4. It would be nice if in the "Main Grid" the entries for "Catalog No." and "Media ID" would be displayed centered. Or at least consistent. At present it is in "Catalog No." left-aligned and "Media ID" right-aligned.
5. In the "Main Grid" is the title of the column "Movie/TVShow" very long. Could you find a shorter word, for example "Type"? This column is just for showing an icon. And I do not like column headings with points abbreviated.
6. Is it possible for me to adapt the window titles to my needs? For example I have no interest in "Back Cover" but I would like to use this window for screenshots. For optical reasons I would have then in the title "screenshots" instead of "Back Cover".
7. Where is the function "edit lists" gone?
8. The presentation of the bars in the "Mini Statistics" seems a little buggy. The font in the back area should be right-aligned (ie "Not: x", "Other: x" and "In collection: x") to the right border.
That's it for now. Keep up that great work.
Regards Sneaker
EDIT:
9. When I want to add pictures in the "Cover Manager" of the "Back Cover" window EMM adds the pictures to the "Cover Manager" of the "Picture View" window; the "Back Cover" window shows no picture. |

I have also noticed points 1, 2, 3, 6 and 8 (for me the alignment is wrong for the "Not: x" and "x") |

10. It would be nice if the width of the columns in the "Starring:" field could be saved on exit. The column "Name" is very wide and the column "Character" is so small. If I change the width of "Character" it isn't saved for the next start of the program.
11. Do we really need a time in the fields "Date Entered" and "Date seen"? It is a bit harder to read with all of the numbers... especially when the last 6 numbers are nearly allways 00:00:00.
12. I would appreciate a function called "Locate holes in CatalogNo Sequence" very very very much :-)
13. In the options I can enter names for the Custom-fields but they are not shown in the Quick Edit View. There is still Custom 1, Custom 2, Custom 3 etc.

14. For some reason when importing the data base it erased the DateInsert field for all the movies I inserted during 2008!!!
15. The Modified field (date of last edit) got lost in the field chooser for Group By and for Choose Column

Am I the only one with this problem or is this a know bug?:

I also have that problem sneaker. As an extension to that problem; if you try to add something to boxsets (via right click) or to edit personal rating etc when not in the "edit" menu that will not save either. |

Are these points still in your ToDo-list?
