Hi,
I posted this in the Information forum before, I have just found a new problem; when I click on a TVShows under Treeview it will display all of the TVshows I have and the shows will display in the HTML card; however when I click on an episode I can't play it. The play button is grey where it should be green and there is no other way to play an episode. My previous post from Information forum:
another quick question (sorry to be annoying!). On the new version I noticed that episodes under TV shows now come up in the HTML card. Is there a way to get TVshows to view like in the old version (where you click "My TVshows" and it comes up with the TVshows under Treeview and the Seasons and episodes under Main Grid?
Hope you can help me because I have a lot of TV show episodes I would love to organise with this program...

@renegaderob1
If you want to "simulate" the old treeview for series from xMM 6.x you have to switch from html card to quickedit view. In the episodes tab you'll find s similar structure for seasons and episodes. |

Hi Guys,
Of course the "layout" of the new 7.x release is not "definitive". I am listening to all suggestion that came from users and I will try to develop all things.
For now the only way is the one suggested by Mawu, but I can try to make it better.
Thank you,
Alessio |

thanks for the help. This does work but then it won't show information for each episode like the old version which had the half/half html view. This is only important for me with large TVshows with many episodes (like Simpsons for example) where I don't know what each episode is just by the name, thus the description helps a lot and the ability to quickly view it and then click play. Oh well, will wait to see what happens with the official release :)
Thanks Mawu and Alessio. Very prompt replies :) |

Hi Guys,
I have add the tv shows titles directly in the main treeview (under the TVShow node).
Now, if you select a tv show, the main grid will show the episodes , and if you click on episodes you will see directly the HTML Card of it.
What do you think? Can be ok?

Hi Alessio,
wow very fast reply thank you! This sounds like it will be perfect (similar to the old version) to be able to separate movies from tvshows from episodes :)
just as an afterthought, you said you released the beta version so that we could test it out for you. Would you like an official breakdown of good/not so good features in the new version written or just to keep posting new ideas on the boards? I would like to help in any small way I could because I love this program so much and your customer support is outstanding! |

Yes, really funny also for me. i have spent much time on "unification", to have an unique interface more easy to use
Btw, in the next release that i will upload in few hours you can have episodes in the main grid by simply select the TV Show from the treeview.

Hmm I can see how some people would like it unified. Maybe the best option is to have both available?
For me I just prefer separate because I have so many episodes (well over 1000) so it is much easier if you can chose the series and then view the episodes by season :) |

Sorry to double post. I just tried the latest release, the change you made was perfect Alessio! Thank you very much! It allows for separation and also unification if one wishes, very nice :)
Not sure if this is a bug though; when I click on an episode I still cant click the "Play movie" button to start an episode; instead I must right click on the file and select "Play Movie" then "File 1".
Also the new file function addition looks good :) |

| Sorry but i cannot see the difference between the release 7012 and 7013. I thought that would be added this function for the separation of series and movies but nothing. Could you please explain me how can i separate them like the old version? |

@mastoul,
in the tree view you should now be able to groupby different things (I like Box Sets). There you will have Movies and TVShows as categories. Now you can click on the little + next to TV Shows to show all of your series. If you click on a series, under the main grid view you can see each season. You can open each season by clicking on the little + next to each season to see each episode. |
