Hello all,

I've installed XMM on my PC, Windows XP ServicePack3, Framework .NET 2.0 installed too. I installed the optionals codecs too.

the install went OK, no error messages at all.

But when I try to launch the .exe nothing happens, I get the Hourglass cursor for 1/2 second then nothing happens.

can you help me ?

Hi,

Really strange thing... can you open the Task Manager to see if the EXE is loaded?

For the record I did not succeed in making it work on my main PC (no problems with others apps) I tried everything, desinstall, reinstall, rebooting, install to different locations etc. but still nothing, no error messages even in the windows event viewer, really strange.

I managed to make it work under Windows 7 Build 7000 and under another PC under XP though

So far it looks great, the scan HDD for movies/TV shows is a must have missing from all the others movies collections managers I tried so far. The use of scripts to retrieve info from various internet sources is also a good idea and it works pretty well.

nice application, I'm gonnay play a little with it now :-)
