Hi, for the past few months I have been trying to install XMM but, I keep getting similar errors. I have tried all the possible fixes I have seen in the forum but, nothing seems to fix the issue. This includes wiping out all registry entries for XMM and odbc, etc.

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit and trying to install XMM v6.7.8.0. Below is the error messages I get when trying to start XMM. Please note that I run it in XP SP2 compatability and I run as admin.

First error...

Second error...

and Third error

XMM then comes on my screen and within 20 seconds, freezes and I have to shut it down through the task manager.

I currently use Movie Collector and I do like the look of this program so I wanted to try it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Please sorry for my delay!

Please download this DLL from this website, I think you have a wrong library:

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/pop.php?msdart

and put it in the windows\system32 folder

Let me know,

Alessio

Hi

The version of msdart.dll that I used was the Windows Vista version (I have Vista Ultimate, 32bit), dated 1.19.2008. The one you asked me to download is the XP version, dated 10.27.2003.

Knowing that it probably would not work, I downloaded it and tried it anyway. It also gave me 3 similar error messages, although not exactly the same. I can post images of the errors if you wish.

Any more suggestions?

Thanks
