Hi, guys. I'm new in the forum. I used Media Manager and added some more media names to the list for the media field (ex. Blu-Ray DVD, DVD-R, DVD+R DL, etc.). I've assigned matching icons for them. But now all of the sudden all my DVD titles have Blu-Ray as an icon instead (#2 in the list) and my VHS titles have CD-ROM icon (#3 in the list). Any ideas? Txs.

Hi Boman,
The icon must be assigned in all your database. is it possible that you have add new media names in the example database and not in your?
Please close XMM and restart it after you changed the icons, should work correctly.
Please let me know,

Thanks for your reply, Alessio. It's a fresh installation of the latest XMM after I reinstalled the OS (WinXP Pro SP3). I opened my own database and didn't use the example db. I updated the media names while having my own db open. It has about 1000 titles, mostly DVD and some VHS as a media name. I intended to change some of the media names later with the ones I added. The restart of the program didn't fix the problem. For example, no matters which icon number I select for DVD name, it allways shows Blu-Ray icon (#1 in the list).

There's no difference if I make changes through Tools->manage Lists ->Edit media type icons or when I directly click on Manage next to the media field in the Quick Edit View. I uninstalled and then reinstalled XMM. The problem persists. It's the same situation when I open the example db so the problem is not in the Media table. Eventually. I can't find where the images for the icons are. Are they in a folder or are part of a resource file? Or the problem could be somewhere in the registry. Can you come up with another idea?

In the previous post I updated XMM to 6.6.8.1. I just updated it again to 6.6.9.0. I want to confirm that it somehow solved the problem. First, the list with the selections in the drop-down Media field didn't match my list with the added media names. When I clicked Manage, I renamed Blu-Ray name back to BluRay. Then I closed it and the list was updated. I'm thinking maybe the problem started when I renamed your original BluRay name to Blu-Ray. Maybe renaming it back solved the problem.
