There is a text field under thumbnails,and is unused for some reason. Suggested is that name of movie, or year-genre-rating is used, or another database custom field.

As for the actor database part, my database ended up at 51 mb. I checked the contents of this, and it appears that there are numerous duplicates. Actors are linked to movies, but since same actors are linked to lots of different movies, the database ends up with lots of duplicate actors. There should be a more elegant solution for this. Each actor could have his own XMM index, linked to the actor IMDB numeber. If these numbers are compared eg XMM index 0002 Arnols S. against IMDB index 66666 Arnold S. then the download from Ol'Arnold would not be necessary since he is already in the XMM database etc.
3.
As for some movies, especially video camera movies (holiday, documentaries, foreign country docu´s etc.) and these could be numerous, will always show up in the NOT UPDATED, NOT SEARCHED etc. list from the internet update list. Maybe we could have the option (checkbox) 'not updatable´ from Internet, so it disappears from the list, and will not show up anymore. We kan extract some frames for cover usage etc., and the xxm database would look excellent.
4.
After some time updating from the internet Windows gives the error msg ´XMM stopped working, plse close XMM´. I am conviced this is some memory error or some anti vrus program issue. I ran XMM in safe mode VISTA with networking, and the error did not show up, altough I had to quit this since running without antvirus is dangerous these days.
5. I am convinced that XMM is going better by the days. I have now 1000+ movies indexed, and it starts running like a charm

Hi Gerard!
1.Strange, I have remove both text and the stars image of personal rating, this to speed up the Thumbnail creation (I am trying to increase speed, I am working on this these days).
2.XMM should work exactly has you describe, I mean that if you import always from IMDB should be no actors duplicate. I will try to make a function to "clean up" duplicate as soon as possible
3.To set a movie already update (eve if its not), just check the field "Web imported" (it's on details tab).
4.Do you mean that if you import a lot of movies in the same "session" you receive this error? I will make a test about it, i will import 1400 movies and let you know.
5.Thank you, I am happy that XMM grows fast and better
