Hello Alessio,

As you know I've been suffering from this script, a lot. Thanks to you it works with the new site adress now.

But here are the things that go wrong with this script;

The script takes the plot ( #FINDLINE#=class=metin align=left valign="middle">) and puts it in the tagline field. And the script doesn't take the actors ( <span class="itembaslik">Oyuncular ). IN FACT the script doesn't take any other information, except the plot.

For the tagline problem, I tried to understand and change the field numbers but I couldn't.

To learn the field numbers etc., I looked at this page http://xmm.a.wiki-site.com/index.php/MagicScript_Technology_Programmer%27s_Guide to do it myself, but the page still lacks information.

Also, as I see, the script deletes the words <br> and <BR> so, a three paragraphed plot shrinks into one big paragraph, which I personally don't want and I whish to prevent this, is it possible?

If I remove those statements ( #DELETETAGS# ) would it affect the way the script works?

Lastly, the special Turkish characters are deformed.
Þ becomes #222;
ý becomes #253;
and so on...

I tried to change the SUBSTITUTETAGS with the proper Turkish characters but "Notepad" told me to save the file as Unicode, and when I did that, the script stopped working.

Dear Alessio, I know you have a lot of work to do, but please spare time to this issue too. Let us finish this script together. If you teach me what to do, or at least direct me to the place to learn, I learn and do it myself with pleasure. Then I would send you the properly working script, so other people who wish to use this script can take advantage too.

Thank you so much for reading, take care.

Erke

Allright, as I see, that the things written between #'s are the commands, so I changed #taketagline# to #takeplot# and now it's working. I also found the reference guide in the XMM but it still isn't enough for me to write a script.

Currently I'm taking IMDb script as a reference and that "actors" parts of the script is impossible for me to translate for the Beyazperde. And I can't figure out that "Unicode" thing all by myself.

Please, at least write me examples or direct me in a way so that I can continue. You see that I'm willing to spare full of my own free time for this, if you can do the same as in quarter of yours.

Kind regards,
Erke

OK.

I now added director, writer, year, country support for this script (BEYAZPERDE) and it is working except some glitches with multiple director or writer names.

When I run it through the Script Editor via XMM, it does the repeating proccess perfectly ( #WHILE# #10#<>#00# ) and goes on to the next section when the 10th variable is 0. But when I actually import a title in the program it gets stuck in those repeats and keeps on adding "|||||||" at the end of the last name.

Also, I can not see any action in the actual import window when the proccess is being done.

How can I send you the file so you can take a look?

Thanks,
Erke
