hello

sorry if there already is that topic anywhere but I couldnt find it.
sorry for my english also. I am PL.

what I want to do is:
I have a folder with movies called "filmy" and in this folder I have movies, and each movie have its own folder. for example: F:\Filmy\Bangkok Dangerous
And I call folder names correctly with the title but movie files are original for example "F:\Filmy\Bangkok Dangerous\www.divxturka.net__coa-bdr5-xvid.avi"

so my problem is:
how to search movies from the disk so the program would take name from the folder name in "film" folder, and save movie witch that title and movies in that folder?

for example i have this "F:\Filmy\Bangkok Dangerous\www.divxturka.net__coa-bdr5-xvid.avi" movi, and I want program to take title from folder name (Bangkok Dangerous) and read all the (movie) files form it (so in this case www.divxturka.net__coa-bdr5-xvid.avi).

I have no idea hov to do it. Am I stupid or there is no option for that?

also is it possible to set this "film" folder as a default movie folder so program could check every time it is started if there are any new movies (folders).

I wouldd be glad if someone could answer me because now i have to add wvery single movie by hand.

thanks in advance.

greetings from poland

Hi There,
i have the same problem.
I use FileBoss to rename all files = Foldername.
It works good untill you reach a cd1... cd2... movie. So you have to chek while renaming. Still you get the movietitle right, the fileinformations to. eXtreme Movie Manager knows if a movie has to parts based on the filenames (cd1 and cd2) so even scanning your hard drive normaly you will not have double entrys.

my english ist bad to, so sorry,

JoJo

Thanks for idea, but its not good for me. I dont want to change movie files names. its harder to find subs for them if you dont know exact name of the file. besides if I want to change names of files it would be much easier to make a BAT file that do it. You just start the Bat file and it is making all work for you. but that is not the point. I need program to search every folder for files and name movies after the folder name not the file name.
