Hi I use XMM mostly to be able to categorize my movies. I usually search for the same director or actors, then I backup my movies on DVD's to make space on harddisk.
But what's missing in search field; is an option like "This movie is on disk".
What I mean is that; I think the lacking of options/fields for the "phsyical status" of the movie needs more attention.
I really would like to be able to state where exactly the movies, like which dvd box or case, what paper-label number etc.
At least filtering out the movies on discs, in search tab, under "What status?".

Also, sometimes I need to move the files between my harddisks and when i do that, the movie goes missing naturally.
Is there a way to add "wild cards" (for the Movie File Path) or couple of "possible places" where the movie might be.
That way we can input my possible location path names and XMM can chech all those places if the movies there or not, and then tell if it's missing or not. |

Alright it seems that I already have been using the "Location Manager" and seems that I have entered a couple of custom places already! And just forgot about to use them.
But still, I really would like to FILTER / SEPERATE the movies that are on harddisk and those are on DVD's.
So it would be wonderful unbelievably fantastic if we could specify them in "Search". I also posted another wish topic for this in here; http://www.binaryworks.it/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4466 |

Hi Comziz,
I have add the File Manager window just now in the 6.3.9.0
At this time there is only one function, that you can use when you move files from an HD to another (or in different folders)
About the Movies on DVD or HD, I will take a look...
