Hi Alessio...
This morning I upgraded my EMM version to the latest 6.3.2.0 from a previous version 6.2.5.0 (My system had been unavailable for some time).
When I tried to start my older version, it appear to hang while checking for new versions after loading everything else successfully, so I thought I had better upgrade to the latest version.
I downloaded and installed the upgrade, but still it hung in the same place. then I noticed the following error as the bottom right of the EMM dialog box.
91-Object reference not set to an instance of an object...
The rest of the message is obscured by the information msg: Total Movies in Grid: xxx
On my Task bar I have the following 3 icons showing for EMM:
Welcome Extreme Movie Manager 6.3.2.0 Deluxe Edition (Not Responding) Please Wait, performing the operation...
Can you please tell me what I need to do next to fix this situation.??
Regards
Julius

Hi,
Please, if you XMM continue to work also after you receive the error, disable the automatic check of new versions. (just to see if this is the real problem of XMM)
Go in the configuration window, there is a checkbox for this.
Please let me know,

Yeah, I noticed this error also... I tried what was recommended namely to disable auto check... after the restart the error STILL briefly came up and then went away.
I am on Vista x64 and haven't noticed this error since I lasted updated (well I am not sure it wasn't there before, just that EMM crashed on me a couple of times while adding eps to a tv show from tv.com and I started to keep track of things out of the ordinary).
Any thing else you want me to try Alessio... |

Sorry Alessio I am away for a week so I can't send you the db zip. Also another thing that I forgot to mention is that the error msg is displayed on the the status line only when the right panel is selected to be displayed.
As soon as you unselect the display option for right panel and click on a movie name the error is not displayed.
Hope that helps :) |

I am having the same error all the time. Running XP. I also notice that if the main window contains only one entry, XMM does not find the entry and gives a select movie first error if I double click on the entry which is highlighted as if selected. This only happens when you get to a one item list comming from a tree view. If you come from a Search you can select the item ok.
In every case I am getting the 91- error when ever I select a movie..
Thanks...
ps: how do I send you the data base? |

Just to add to this, I have had this error message since I first started using XMM, but everything still worked OK, so i just ignored it.
