Hi there,

i think this is not a real Bug, so i post it as a feature request:
I have most of my movies lying on a FileServer as iso images.
I added them to EMM using the file import function, so the movies in my databse are linked to the path where they are located.
My problem now is, that the HardDrives in my Fileserver are configured to spin down. They are only supposed to spin up when watching movies and when adding new ones.
EMM now seems to access the files associated to a movie every time when a movie card is displayed. An option to disable this behaviour would be really nice, because every time when is go through my movie database now, all three harddisks spin up.

Thanks in advance & regards
Elpeterle.

Hi,

I will try to add an option in the configuration window to disable XMM to search for movie files.

Thank you,

Alessio

I have add a new function in the "File Reading" configuration, if you disable the "Always check if there are movies to play"... you should prevent the HD Spin-Up.

Will be on 6.3.1.0
