When doing "Add Movies -> Search your HD for Movies -> Select Files and selecting an AVI and then "Import Selected Movies" the program imports garbage (for example in the "Media" tab of the movie - check it out) or nothing at all (for example length in "Movie" tab)...

FYI I reverted back to 6.2.4.0 and importing the movie as described above worked perfectly. Therefore there really is a bug as described above in 6.2.5.0

SwissDude,

Have you installed the update of 6.2.4? Because I think that the problem is related to the new mediainfo.dll

The last full install I did was 5.8.2. I have been installing updates since. So at 6.2.4 I installed the update to 6.2.5 and discovered the bug. So I re-installed the 6.2.4 update. Today I installed the update to 6.2.6 (from my 6.2.4 version) and the bug was still there, so I re-installed the 6.2.4 update and the bug went away again.

What do you suggest I try?

Mmmm... I think I will move back to the old mediainfo dll for the next release, the problem should be related to this component.

Thank you,

Alessio

Just installed the 6.2.7 update and it now works again. Looks like the old mediainfo dll is still the "better" one to use...

Ciao.
