It seems MD5 checksumming is vastly increasing the time it takes to add movies, is there anyway to remove this feature?

It's really slowing down the ever increasing amounts of movies i'm trying to add. I dunno if it's a bug or anything, but it takes a minute or two to import the avi info (the program appears to freeze until it's finished).

If it is MD5'ing, can you include an option to simply turn it off? If i want to md5 something i'll use edonkey :)

Tech Specs:
Windows XP
Athlon XP 2400+
1GB 3200 DDR-Ram
New installation with old database.

the db can't be opened
there are 2 possible errors:
1) you must specify the path to your db in "config.asp" (db_path)
2) the script don't have the access rights to open the db-file (grant read/write access to the Database-Directory)

Yep, you were right, that problem was #1 =) Now it gets past that but I still get this.

Error Type:
Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A000D)
Type mismatch: '[string: ""]'
/movies/liste.asp, line 504

that's strange...
line 504 is: i = i + 1 (there cant be no type mismatch)
it's maybe line 505 that causes this error, it assumes you have only digits in the Disk-Field (N°CD), if not then
j = j + rstSimple.Fields("Disk").Value
causes type mismatching, if you want you can send your db to me (ICQ: 60189532) and i'll look what's wrong
