Hi Alessio!

The auto-update and update checking is very nice. It would be much better though, if only the scripts i already have were automatically checked for download when updating. I get tired of going through the whole list of available scripts and unchecking those which return languages I don't know, and those from gay and xxx sites. Currently, every available script update is checked for download by default.

How's the family?

Hi Caunt,

This should be not true, XMM will only automatically check the script you already have. The script "new" should be marked with a Star icon and not selected automatically.

Please let me know!

Alessio

Alessio,
When doing an update, scripts that I have will automatically have a check mark while those that I don't have will not have the check mark - it that correct?

Yes, this is correct.

If you do not want certain scripts, just go in the "my documents\extreme movie manager\scripts\" folder, delete the script you do not want, and the liveupdate should not check it.

Let me know if there is a bug.

Thank you.

Alessio

No Alessio, there is no bug. With the additional info you gave me, I found that all those scripts had been downloaded without me realizing it during a disk rebuild. I have deleted the unwanted scripts from the folder as you described (MUCH faster than the built in utility, thanks) and YES! only the remaining scripts are checked on update.
wow that saves a lot of time.
I sure appreciate your help with this one: sorry I bothered you, but very glad to have that irritation gone.
