Hi,
Is it possible that a rough guide be stickied so that the community could attempt to create and share their own scripts that are compatible with the latest version of extrememmoviemanager?
I've googled for tutorials on this but have found nothing.
Even a breakdown of the structure of an example script would be a great start for people like myself to start experimenting and writing custom scripts.
Many thanks. |

The guide is pretty rough around the edges but with a bit of trial and error you can work out how it works. It's all pretty logical once you do though.
Hoodric, thank you very much. I can finally get a start on some of my own scripts.
The date on this programmers guide, ends 2003. Is there anything missing 'update' wise to this that I might need to know to make scripts compatible with the most current XMM build? |

Hi Mumra,
Yes, the document is quite old, but the concepts are the same. The new things are new functions to import more details on TV Shows, Actors and Movies, but for this is better if you take the IMDB Script and take a look at it, it the most complete available.
