Sorry to bother you again Alessio, but with the new 6.0.6.0 version, the AdultDVD Script no longer works. When I want to get information from the Web, it simply runs without even asking me to confirm the title, the it only downloads the year.
Thans in advance for your help.

I have same problem. And if I choose not to use quick import from options. Error * "Import interrupted. You can now close this window" appears on the top of window.
Is it possible to repair the script?
Thanks

By any chance has anyone else had joy in fixing this script and is willing to share as a temporary measure until an official Alessio fix? Many thanks.

Hi, is anyone working on this script at all? Is it already updated and I don't know about it?
ie. via the script update plugin yet not mentioned on the main site homepage.
Many thanks |

Sorry folks, been away for a while. I will update EMM to the latest version today and see what I can figure out this evening. |

ADVD has completely re-done their web site. I will start working on a re-write of the script tonight and will get it done as soon as I can. This is not a problem with EMM, looks like the change on the site just coincided with a release of EMM. |

Yes, yes yes, thank you very much!
I was starting to wonder whether the script language was no longer compatible with the site.
There was another site I've been hoping might make it to the script list: http://www.adultdvd69.com
I might have a go at creating a script for that site based on your new ADVD script, if you find you've not the time for both.
I've already had a skim read of the magicscript manual, but im still trying to get my head around it
Happy coding and thanks again.

The thing I did was to use Alessio's IMDB script in Magic Editor and follow his steps. That was the quickest way to understanding the script language and what it can do. I still refer back to it to see if things can be changed or improved in my scripts. Spend a little time with it and it starts to make sense. And remember to use Firefox and Ctrl-U. It lets you view the raw web page.
I have found the changes that need to be made but it looks like ADVD is throwing a bunch of junk into the page and XMM does not like it. I sent a copy to Alessio to see if he can figure out what they are doing and why it is choking XMM.
It will be a little while before I can start another script. I am working on getting better acquainted with C# 2008 at the moment. |

Yikes! This doesn't sound like good news. But please stick at it. Thank you for your efforts so far.
You say that you're using C# 2008, is that 'Visual C# 2008'? If so please confirm and I'll buy that program and try to get more aquainted with the language and magic script.
I may be just a noob, but im willing to give new things a try. Don't hold your breath for results on my end, Im no programmer.

I am using Visual C# 2008 Express. Free from Microsoft as well as other Visual Studio Express versions.
Here is the link http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/default.aspx.
The Pay For version is mainly designed for those already programming in the language. The extra bells and whistles in it would not be used by someone just learning the language.
Also, Alessio has emailed and is looking into the issue. This has happened before way back when some sites started adding Java code to their pages and it was fixed pretty quickly. |

Hi Clean,
Do you think there's a possibility that a solution might lie within the new gaydvdempire script?
Im going on a lot of 'assumptions' here.
Im assuming gaydvdempire is a site that works on near enough the exact same principles/layout/setup etc as adultdvdempire.
Also, i assume that the new gaydvdempire script is a fix for all the fields. Is this so? does it do covers as well as plot, actors, etc?
(anyone)How good is the gaydvdempire script?
cheers |

I just took a look at the site and it has not had the make-over that ADVDE has had. It is still in the old format. |

Just when i thought there was a glimmer of hope for a quick-hack update version of this script. Thanks for humoring my idea and taking a look into it. Much appreciated

So there is no solution for this site. Is there any other sites of adult videos for what scripts can be made? |

Please, anyone...any ideas? Without a good adult script, my use of EMM is almost 100% manual entering. Has anyone looked at Xrentdvd.com ? |
