Hello,
after doing a complete reinstall of XMM 5.8.2 (cleaned the registry before frome any xmm entry) I'm not able to save any cover. Loading cover via script the cover field is filled with a value (e.g 2417.jpg), but the cover file is missing on the hard disk. Via cover manager I choose a picture from hard disk, but it isn't saved anywhere and not shown in XMM. What do I have to do make the covers work again? Btw, existing covers still work. The database is located under "E:\MovieArchive\eXtreme Movie Manager .NET\MovieArchive.mdb".
With kind regards, blpp |

Hi!
There should be a folder called "E:\MovieArchive\eXtreme Movie Manager .NET\MovieArchive_cover\" with all cover inside. Can you confirm this?
Thank you,
Alessio

Dear Alessio,
yes, the folder is in place and has the correct name. All rights are ok, I'm working as an admin. When I try to add a cover with the cover manager, I can see an error * for a short time at the status bar at the bottom after choosing a jpg file: "53-The file wasn't found.....".

Dear Alessio,
I installed the new version via update file. But the new version doesn't solve the problem :-(. I have a movie with id 2414 and name "Are you scared". If I add a cover via cover manager I still get the error * "53-The file wasn't found....." in the status bar. In the Quick Edit View the "Cover" field has the value "2414-Are-You-Scared.jpg" after addition, but the file isn't located in the directory "E:\MovieArchive\eXtreme Movie Manager .NET\MovieArchive_cover". Seems as if XMM doesn't generate or copies the cover to the directory?

All of the sudden it works. I changed nothing since yesterday (except rebooting of course). |

Dear Alessio,
I opened a cover via "Quick Edit View" -> "Add a cover manually in first place". This doesn't work, as I've mentioned above. I logged the file activity and possibly got an hint: . If you need the whole log, I can send it to you.

Dear Forum,
I found the problem myself. The error was an existent file "Directory" on C:. Because of that XMM wasn't possible to process. Dear Alessio, an error * for this problem would very helpful!
