| No titles with a ' in them will be added from the mass title add. Example: Child's Play. I discovered this after adding my entire collection of about 600 titles, so now I have to go through them all over again.. =( |

@Mystiqq
REALLY SORRY...
to say : ALL Export-related things are moved to a later release!
1. Alessio "broke the rules" = and worked the whole weekend through ...which he NEVER did before! (so I couldn't catch up with him = Mothers' Day in Germany you know)
2. We decided to do ALL FIXES first then adding the SERIES-support and at least see what we can do with EXPORT then!
...as you may have noticed = there are new bugs / still things which want to be fixed first...
so I only can say = PLEASE be patient... we have forgotten nothing!
but please tell me = WHO has told you that there will be "custom-field" EXPORT?
so long...

But it does work with moviecards since a long time. Just use:
_MOVIE_CUSTOMFIELDX_
where X stand for the # of custom field
This does not work for (x)HTLM-DB Export, because it uses instead of e.g. _MOVIE_TITLE_ the <div id="mTitle" ...> tags. Just change the "id=" value to show another thing there. I don't know what to use to show the custom_fields, but maybe the programmers know. And even if its not possible in the moment, it can't be so hard to build it in, can it? I would be very thankful if that would work soon, because i find it very important.

Hi Kris,
We have decide do not put all fields in the (x)HTML-DB for save space. (x)HTML-DB is born for put collections online (I have start to work in a FTP Manager inside XMM for make it easy) and be as quick as possible.
If we include all fields the visualization of the collection would be too slow.
Maybe in future we will add more fields, let me know what you like.

Hi Alessio,
maybe it's possible to manage the export in the following way: 1.user can select the fields he want to export 2.number of exportable fields is limited.
Bye the way: i liked the feature (in older xMM versions) to select the movies for xhmtl-db export. No it's a very long-winded procedure to realize that. Any chance to reintegrate it?

With the new (x)HTML-DB it's a bit complicated, this because now you haven't only the list of movies but also the "sorting options".
We will see if there is a way...

Hi Alessio,
I just want to export some custom fields, I don't want to export the whole stuff. With the movie-cards I can choose myself what to export, so you just have to integrate support for the missing fields. It would be enough for me if I could export 2 of the custom fields. What I mean is just to add for example the id="mCustomField1" for bringing up the content of Custom Field 1. BTW: By editing the movie-cards you CAN choose what to be displayed and what not.

Hi Kris,
Yes, with the MovieCards it's easy to add or delete a field, but in the (x)HTML-DB the "Informations" are stored in a particular file.
However, we will try to add it in future.
