I have been trying to customize some of the moviecards included in build3 by moving around and adding certain moviecard datatypes (ie. _MOVIE_WEBLINK_, _MOVIE_MUSIC_, _MOVIE_MOVIEFILE1_ etc...) in the moviecard html files. This all works great while viewing the moviecards through the program itself, but when exporting to an HTML database using that datacard, i get very different (null and incorrect) results. I also can't get the covers to work while viewing the moviecards normally. I can't seem to put my finger on it. Here is an example of what I'm trying to do:

Moviecard w/ eXtreme: http://quantumdesign.net/pics/moviecard.jpg
Moviecard w/ HTML DB: http://quantumdesign.net/pics/html_db.jpg

As you can see, many of the added/changed datatypes are incorrect or just not displayed at all in the html database. And the cover does not work in the moviecard view. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rand

Hi,

This should be already possible : when you use a MASS addd function (by titles or by files) you can , before start to add movies, write the appropriate value in the Box ID. When you will add the movies, the Box ID value will be added to the whole set of files.

This works not only for the Box ID, but also with all others fields.

For example, if you add all your "Horror" movies, you can write on the category field "Horror", and all the movies imported with the MASS function will be set as "Horror".

I hope you understand because my english is really terrible!

Let me know if you have problems!

Hello again,

Thanks for quick reply and i thought i did understand you correctly, but it doesent work the way i understood it.

I did it like this: Add -> Media -> under Box ID i write a number for that CD -> lets say i click Mass Files Add -> browse to the CD and scan it -> select the movies i wish to import -> "add one movie for every selected file"

It did add movies but the Box ID fields were empty in all movies. So is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?

regards, AgiZ
