Hi Alessio, Me again
Here are some notes I made as I was exploring the program more last night. I have to tell you that many times I thought "It sure would be nice if..." and then what did I find? It already does that!
Right click on an actor name from list in both quickedit and edit should have option to add actor to database, and one to both add actor to database + get data from internet. (so you can easily pick your favorite actors from the "staring" list to get more info about)
How do you get the actors to download for episodes? Why is there no "starring" tab here?
In magicscript (wonderful tool by the way), When a script has no matches or no acceptable matches, it appears you must close|reselect the title|reopen the magic script and choose another script. There should be a way to go back and choose another script to try in this case...especially if you were only searching one thing.
In the list manager, the editbox should be above the "new, save, delete" buttons. Personally, I'd put "new" above, "Delete" below left, and "save" below right. All of them together at the top of the screen. It is very unusual the current arrangement and takes much more mouse movement than necessary to accomplish an edit. Pressing "enter" in the edit box should both save the entry to the list and clear the ditbox. the editbox should be cleared and ready to accept new entry by default and after a "save" (or "enter").

Should be easy to do to add this actor to database, a bit more complicated is to import information from web of this new actor, but I will try...

In episodes and TV Shows there is the "Show stars" field, but at this time is not "managed" like in movies, I need to work on this.

I am not sure I have understand: when the script has no matches I simply press the "stop" button, change the title, and then press the "execute" script again

OK, I will try to rearrange asap
Thank you as always!

Thanks Alessio,
Should be easy to do to add this actor to database, a bit more complicated is to import information from web of this new actor, but I will try... In episodes and TV Shows there is the "Show stars" field, but at this time is not "managed" like in movies, I need to work on this. I'll look forward to "starring" for TVEpisodes. I guess I get more attatched to individual TV actors than movies because I see them more . I personally don't have actors added automatically because you can very quickly grow a list of hundreds (and most of them I'm not very interested in). That plus the "add to database" on right-click you just put into 5520 will be great for me!
I am not sure I have understand: when the script has no matches I simply press the "stop" button, change the title, and then press the "execute" script again Yes, thank you for the help. You can easily change the title for a new search with the SAME script, but it is not so easy to go back and choose a new SCRIPT. (you have to start over).
OK, I will try to rearrange asap ...which means almost instantly for you . The adjusted list manager works very nicely, thank you. |
