Hi,
I am still using xMM 4.8 quite simply because it has more features than 5.x! There are other features that I believe are the basics that are still 'greyed' out/missing.

One such feature is re-reading all the media you have on hard drive and updating the codec, encoding info etc.

I really miss not being able to select a media player of my choice (the player manager) and I really want a working media centre mode/view - hopefully compatible with the MC remote control.

Is the TV Series mode flexible and intelligent yet? As in can I point it at my TV folder and as long as (for example) the main folders are the series titles (4400, LOST, Stargate SG1) then the subfolders of those are either S1 or Series 1 or Season 1, then the actual files that are the episodes are names similar to 4400.101.avi 4400.102.avi & LOST.S01E01.avi LOST.S01E02.avi LOST.S01E03.avi & SG1.S01x01.avi SG1.S01x02.avi etc etc etc

Will the import work correctly and get all this right or is it going to be a largely manual time consuming process. If the functionality is not there for this then I suggest you implement it - you could allow users to enter variables as to what they use for 'Season' and allow multiples (I do actually use S1 S2 as well as Season and Series) and again the same for how the episodes are titled - allowing great flexibility when importing.

The last time I tried to import TV series (a good while ago now, in an early version of 5 it did not work very well and was an extremely time consuming process).

Thanks in advance,

Laffer.
