Hi Alessio,
I recently found by chance a duplicate movie in my database, which was not found during the duplicate finder of xmm. the reason was that in title, there was an extra space in one of the titles. Is it possible to make the duplicate finder more flexible by adding (or make configurable some things?
example:
1. Search for duplicates without taking in mind extra spaces in front or in the end of the title. eg. " Movie " = "Movie"
2. Ignoring words like A, THE or any configurable first or last word. eg. "A Movie" = "Movie" or "The Movie"="Movie"
2a. Ignoring commas (,) and words after commas. eg. "Movie1, the"="Movie1" or "Movie2,A"="Movie2"
Hope that its possible
Thanx a lot! Angelos |
