Hi Perkeo,

It depends on how you visualize the Date of Insert in the Grid. If you select for example a "mask" like yyyy-mm-dd you will be able to correctly sort by Date of Insert

Hi Perkeo,

Please try to use the format yyyy.MM.dd, this should correctly sort by Date Insert.

I am sorry Perkeo, but with this form you will not be able to sort correctly the date of insert.

Because all data inside the Grid are Alphanumeric, so the Date of Insert in dd/MM/yyyy will be wrongly sorted . For the Grid this is NOT a date, but it's a normal String, this is why will not be sorted correctly.

I hope you understand my bad english

Hi Alessio!

Is there any news about this topic, that means to change the character of the date insert field that a sorting of dd-mm-yyyy is also possible? yyyy-mm-dd is very unusual in middle europe.
BTW: most of the data fields dealing with dates or numbers need a kind of "relaunch" because there a lot of bothering problems: 01.01.1900 , no dd-mm-yyyy possible for dvd release year (although you can grabb the whole release date with scripts), no currency for price/value etc.
