Could you give the user an option to :
1. Resize the toolbar. 2. Remove or add the toolbar - to maximize display 3. To hide a certain button on the toolbar - like not everyone needs HELP button all the time. 4. Hide or ability to move "Active Database: ..." bar (below the toolbar) - so that more display could be given to My Movies | My TV Series | Actors. 5. Ability to hide Status bar (the one at the bottom of everything) - how is it helpful anyway? Just giving warning to the users in the status bar ? We could not fix it. A better suggestion is the user should be allowed to click on the "!" and goto the particular movie that has errors/problem, like the one mentioned in the status bar. 6. A FULL SCREEN mode - like hitting F11, will maximize everything, leaving only the left panel (if selected by user), medium panel and finally the right panel (if selected)
Just a thought. Thanks ! |

Sorry what I mean in the paragraph :
>bar ? We could not fix it. A better suggestion is the user should be allowed to click on the "!" and goto the particular movie FIELD that has errors/problem, like the one mentioned in the status bar.
FIELD was missing. And multiple fields error should be supported too. Maybe a selection list to go directly to the various fields ???!!
Thanks again for the best product ever for movie manager ! |

Hi Jamestan!
Sorry very much for my late reply. I am near to release the 5.2.2.0 (maybe this night or tomorrow), but I haven't make the changes you asked.
I really hope to do it soon.
Thank you!

The most important one is the full screen mode, where I don't need the toolbar, just a way to browse the movie.
When do you think you could do it ? |

Media Center mode is great, but I can't edit or change personal ratings. That's the problem.
I need FULL SCREEN mode with read and SOME editing features like personal ratings, check/uncheck seen etc. Thanks. |

Hi Jamestan,
I have start to work to Media Center mode, but probably I will make also an "F11" function.
I need some time to do everything.
Thank you,

I saw F11 mode working ! Yeah !!! Great job !!!
Anyway, could you make some other hot keys to function like add new movie ? Ctrl + N is nice (to pop up a new window to add movie).
Thanks so much ! |

One more small request regarding FULL SCREEN MODE. Could you remove the Windows title bar AND the menu bar as well ?
The F11 mode should be similar to Firefox/IE F11 mode, where it occupies the whole screen, without even the windows title bar.
Thanks. |

Another thing I noticed was, in FULL SCREEN MODE, changing any width of any panel and the full screen mode itself are not "remembered" by XMM 5. It should be in the same full screen mode and panels width/height if one exit XMM in the mode.
But I don't think XMM remembers anything visually in full screen mode. Could you make it remember the full screen mode and its sizes ? |
