Hi,
I'm a user since 0.x series, and I'm regularly importing DivX movies, that do not always fit in one file.
All the recent XMM versions had the possibility to import "mutliple files into one movie" or "one movie per file". Which allowed me to create all my movies from my HD, but with a lot of clicks.
I like the more straightforward way of working in XMM 5.x, but I was expecting it to recognize when the filename pattern is so similar that it should create only a single movie and import all files in it. After all, in 99% of the case, multple files for the same movie only differ in name from the CD1, CD2,... somewhere in the name...
Currently, I get too much movies imported for multi-files movies (one per file). I don't know if this is a bug, a function in progress or the new intended behavior.
Thanks for your new version anyway, except for this detail and another small bug in the internet (re)update of movie data when using chains (basically dvdempire + imdb, imdb actors were not refreshed correctly from imdb although the "overwrite existing data" option was turned on), it looks very promising.
Keep up the good work.
As a side question, have you considered the open source model ? I'm sure a lot of your users are also developers (like myself) and you could benefit from the help of your user base to make things happen faster/easier. I would certainly be a contributor...
