Hello everybody

I just discovered XMM, so sorry if the question sounds stupid
I'm trying to automatically import my movie collection from the HardDrive, but they are stored like in a real dvd.
It's something like
MovieName/VIDEO_TS/ with a bunch of vob and ifo files
And in the case my movie has several disks, it's MovieName/Disk X/VIDEO_TS/xxx

Is there a way to automatically import these movies in XMM ?

Thanks

Hi Sleipnir!

Welcome to XMM community

At this time is not possible do what you ask, but I will add this in future releases.

At this time XMM can only search for movie files like AVI, MPEG etc...

Thank you for your suggestion!

thanks for your answer !
I'm looking forward to this feature :)

Another 'unralted' question:
Does XMM support unicode input ?
I'm trying to input some titles in Japanese, and although it's being inserted correctly, in the MovieCard view, the title is displayed as ????

I checked the source code of the generated html, and indeed, the character set is wrong, and the html text as well.
Is this going to be fixed in the future ?

Hi Dipol,

I am sorry, I haven't do it yet.

At this time XMM is able to catch the movie Title from the last folder name, I mean:

c:\my videos\batman\1.avi
c:\my videos\terminator\2.avi

XMM can take the title from "batman" and "terminator", but not from others folders.

I have add this features the last week, so I think I will continue to improve it.

Alessio

Hi Dipol,

I have add the option to extract the title from the LAST folder or from the FIRST one, so you will be able to take the title from a structure like:

"MovieName/Disk X/VIDEO_TS/xxx"

Will be on 6.6.2.0

Bye!

Alessio
