Ho finalmente installato la versione 8, importando i film dalla precedente versione 7.2.3.6 con cui mi trovavo benissimo. Ora però ho un gravissimo problema: non riesco più a importare i CD/DVD contenenti dei film avi o mp4 perché non trovo più l'opzione "aggiungi film/scan your devices/add movies saved on cd/dvd"
Sono io un ciuccio che non trova più l'opzione o essa è sparita nella versione 8?????
Se fosse così tornerei subito indietro a tutta mancina e aspetterei la versione 9 ! :)

-> Add Original DVD

No, JDommi, it is not that function!
There are a normal three choices on old 7 version when you clic on "aggiungi film": 1) Scan your devices (hard disk, usb, nas...) 2) add movies saved on cd/dvd (read info from cd of avi, mp4, mkv files) 3) add original dvd (read ONLY original DVD, not avi files on normal cd)
If you choose "add movies saved on cd/dvd" you have a new window where you can choose a drive and after that another new window where you have listed all your film loaded from cd in that session!.
In version 8 you can only read from original DVD or directory on HD?????

| I try to explain: in version 8 is possible to load a couple of disk in the same session? i.e. open tray, insert disk, click ok, read info, eject cd, insert disk, click ok, read info, eject cd and so on... ;) |

I think to remember that I have read in the forum that this function isn't there anymore. But have you tried to set the device scanner directory to your dvd drive? Maybe it automatically detects a drive change...

Se non c'è questa funzione, me ne torno subito alla versione 7!
Mi spiace che purtroppo gli script non vengono più aggiornati per la versione 7... :((( . Era questo l'unico motivo che mi aveva spinto ad aggiornare il programma :(
A questo punto ho bisogno però di un'altra info: è possibile importare il database dalla vers 8 alla vers 7?
