Hello,
I am new to XMM, and I need some help.
I have my movie directory structure like this:
C:\Movies\[movie name]\[movie].avi
The problem is that sometimes there are more than one avi file per movie (in which case its [movie (1 of 2)].avi). i have some movies which are 2 files (part1, and part2), and other movies which are 1 file, and still others that have 3 files/parts.
I don't want each part to have it's own Movie - rather, I want each DIRECTORY ([movie name]) to be its own movie, with all files in each directory (whether there is only one, or whether there are 3) to be part of that one movie - a kind of "Group/chain files in each directory together" option.
How do I import this, so that XMM automatically sorts all this for me? |

ADD ->Mass FILE Add scan the directory containing the movie you want to add select all the avi files for the the film you want to add click : Add all selected files to only ONE MOVIE all files have been added to ONE entry in the DB (and the lenght is correct) note that the title field takes the last added movie file name, so you probably will want to correct this manually. |

This is a late reply but I am on it now so...
What I do is: Mass file add
Then I pick up all films. In case of multiple files film, I choose only one file to be added. Then when all films are added, I add MANUALLY the second, third film files.
(usually titles look like this as said: [movie (1 of 2)].avi so its very easy to copy paste the file target and just change it to [movie (2 of 2)].avi) |
