Hey
I have a annoying problem when using extreme movie manager 4.0, every time i try to add a new movie and use the import feature i can't save the info i get, meaning the save function is deactivatet !!!
All my old movies work just fine importing pictures and info, but not the new added ones :-(
the "save and execute/save information button" is not working its inactive just like i read in some other place but its was a older version of the program
PLZ help |

Deuce, I had the same problem with inactice save buttons after doing an update. Tried re-updating but did not fix. Do I have to do a total install to fix. What did you do to cause/fix problem?

Same problem here!
Import seems to be okay, but saving is impossible. All of a sudden this problem appeared yesterday. Everything worked perfect before. By the way the CPU-Usage keeps staying at 100%, but nothing happens. |

By now i tried 3.7 and 3.9. safc did 4.0 so I think we can say it doesnt depend on the version.
First I thought it might be IMDB again but i guess we have too little response for that here dont we? I mean this would nearly involve all!
But I just dont get it! Yesterday everything worked fine and then in the evening this crap!
QUESTION: Do you guys have this 100%CPU load too?? |

| I guess saving problem is only with imdb script since it hangs and sometimes is even stuck in the middle of importing. i've tried to import with tvtome script and save option was working. my guess is that might be script problem |

Hi,
Yes, the problem seem to be related to the IMDB Script, I will try to fix it as soon as possible.
Alessio
PS: have you experienced this problem with others scripts? |

Hi,
I have found the problem, the new IMDB script is in the ONLINE Mode of XMM.
Let me know if there are others problems.

Here is what worked for me.
1. choose the movie 2. click on the button with the earthglobe and the www (import information with magicscript) 3. choose online mode and it will now update all the scripts
after that it should work just fine, even the imdb ones |

okey..got it working but dont like the way how it is has to be done now. 1st add a movie (name) => save&exit 2nd choose tha movie from list on left => click the BIG Globe with WWW-button => choose ONLINE Mode => choose IMDB script => Import
Way too many arrows (=>) imo. Would like to have "the old way" working asap. Thank you. |

Hi,
What do you mean "the old way" exactly? You mean use the "quick" import function?
If yes, this is what you must do:
1) Use the ONLINE mode for download the new scripts.
2)Press the button "Copy Scripts to Hard Disk"
3)Select the new IMDB script from the list and press the little button "Default".
Now the new IMDB script will be the default one and you can use the quick import.
Let me know if you have problems!

Thx Alessio :)
Yes now it works "like the old ways" ;) No1 said here before that I only need dl that new imdb script ONCE and then COPY them to my HDD. And after I have made it as my default script - all working like they use to :)
So the REAL problem in VERY EASY way to said: - New IMBD script had to be downloaded (see Deauce reply) THEN - DO like Alessio said (above) and you have new imdb script and no problems :) |
