3.6 b1 is very slow it takes long time to start / shutdown, even on a powerful dual CPU computer with RAID disks and 2GB RAM :)
the database is 18,5 MB - it was much faster before |

| maybe, it helps (Allessio correct me, if I am wrong), let your database "repair" and "compress" by Access 2002. Worked for me, but however, my old database got no problems, so I will stay with my EMM database. Give it a try, it will compress the database with about 50%. |

Another trick to speed up is to uncheck the option "load actors" This improves the startup time and the closing time up to 90%. Best regards Yiannis |
