Due to having to reinstall o.a. EMMM, I try to import existing databases from a former installation on a different harddisk. The import starts o.k., but at the end it stops and the program freezes. Any suggestions on how to solve this, if any? Appreciate all response.
Kind regard, Jos Hendrix

Hi Jos!

When you install the update you must be sure that XMM is not running, so you can use the liveupate to download it but you have to close XMM before proceed with installation.

About the Import, can you please ZIP your database and send it to me? I will better take a look at the problem.

Hallo, I am also a bit late with my reaction, but thanks for your attention. I am not absolutely sure but it must be from a 5.x version, because I always install the new releases. Another problem occurred today while installing the latest version. The setup refuses to replace existing files. What is the safest way? Completely delete the older version? I wish you a happy and prosporous new year.

Hi,

Sorry for my delay!

How much "old" is your database? I mean, it's from 4.8 release or 5.x?

Alessio
