Posted - 23 Oct 2008 : 14:41:12 After importing 200 or so movies with no problems, the openwebslot1 error started. Downloaded the latest scripts from the website, but it keeps coming up. A very bad issue for adding movie particulars. Uninstalled/Re-installed XMM, but the error keeps coming up. Also when I ADD/EDIT the movie, and I select update from internet, it starts ok, but it is doing it TWICE, both followed with the OPENWEBSLOT message.
Now, if the EXTREME DOWNLOAD MONITOR G3 seems to be happy with the connection, why should XMM questioning the connection ? The error seems to show up at the point XMM tries to download the ´cover picture´
The error started on this computer to show up, when the database was re-indexed (= a XMM menu choice..) Don't know if this is related to the error.
Further on, basic database instructions like packing, deleting duplicates, etc. are not supported, or not obvious.
As for printing a record, I would suggest a form in which we can select the info we want printed. eg moviename, rating, year and so on.
The writer should make generous efforts to make XMM 100% foolproof. |
