Posted - 18 May 2003 : 16:34:27 i don't know if this problem has existed earlier, but the last couple of movies i've had to import info from the internet (imdb) but not been able to read the file info due to the md5 checksum issue. now when i read the file info from cds of movies previously in the database the playing times are added instead of replaced. of course i can click the button for NOT adding up the times, but this is just different from what i'm used to. thanks for a great program, anders |

Posted - 18 Jun 2003 : 09:04:31 Hi,
For add much DVD is better if you use the Mass TITLE Add.
XMM can read the IFO Files of your DVD, but you must select the file MANUALLY (you know that there is more IFO inside and under different folders) because it cannot read it automatically like an AVI file in the root.
So, the best way is to add all titles with Mass TITLE and after make a big Import with Scripts.
I want remember that you can "Filter", in the main window, to show only the movies never imported and after press the WWW button -> you will see only the list of movies never-imported.

Posted - 17 Jun 2003 : 08:52:49 Hi,
Sorry, my english is terrible and maybe I haven't understand:
1) If you want add much VHS movies for example, you can use the Mass TITLE add. Just open the EDIT WINDOW, select in the first tab the media "VHS", go in the Mass Title add and write one movie for every line. Now, when you will press the button for add the movies, all will be "VHS" type. You can also use the "MULTI Changes" manager to set the Media type to much movies.
2)At the bottom of the movie list there is much "sorting" features, just select the appropriate one you want.
Bye!
