Hi,

If the text contains the & sign, the script add the HTML code (& #38;) insted of only the & sign.
For example: it adds the original title: Astérix & #38; Obélix: Mission Cleopatré.

Akira as you noticed I too have no taglines.
I'm still stuck with V1.2
Any attempt to upgrade from this on either of my machines causes emm to lose all my covers as does any saved changes to the tools configuration tab in V1.2
Not too happy about this...anyone have any advice pls?

Ok, I will make more tests.

Anyone have this problem out there ? please write!

Alessio, I have installed EMM on each of my machines in a bid to replicate your success. I have had no luck.
I've tried it on a mix of intel and amd machines including a dual proc intel machine and as yet still can't get the tagline to output.

I really cannot understand why, in my PC the Tagline is exported.

However, in the Registered Area there is the FULL and the EXE only.

Bye!

Alessio my friend I wouldn't kill you, I have installed it to a completely fresh folder (d:\Extreme Movie Manager 1.5) and imported my database and tried to export using cortexwaves moviecard. Still no tag line :( sorry

I have just thought.. In the registered users area there is only the full version to download (or am I wrong??)
Romio Posted - 30 May 2003 : 01:17:20
Akira don't kill me : please install the FULL release, maybe in a new folder, and try to export with the MovieCard of cortexwave.

Thank you,

Alessio

Yes done both (obviously did the beta yesterday) neither makes a difference. The problem has existed since the update to the program when I first mentioned it (Sorry can't remember the update now)
Romio Posted - 29 May 2003 : 23:59:27
Ok, another question

Have you install the FULL new release ? (not the Beta of yesterday).

Hi Alessio,
The reason I asked about the processor is because IF it's compiled on the opposite processor it can cause problems (ie if it's compiled on an AMD processor there have been known to be problems on Intel processors). We are however using the same processors(I'm using a 2200XP)
Yes we are talking about exporting to multiple HTML pages using the export to HTML-DB function. It works fine within EMM but the second I tell it to export the only thing missing is the Tagline.. every other field I try to export seems perfect.
Romio Posted - 29 May 2003 : 23:41:52
Hi Akira,

I think that the problem cannot be related on the CPU. I have an AMD 1100, it's quite old.

Please let me know if we speak about the same thing : the (x)HTML-DB. ?!

Cavallo Posted - 29 May 2003 : 23:38:03
Yep that's the one that I downloaded with the latest version.. that's the one I exported and it didn't work for me.. Worked fine before exporting.. then it didn't show up in the export

Can I please ask what processor you are using (in case it may be due to the make I'm using and caused during compiling)
Romio Posted - 29 May 2003 : 23:28:50
Hi Akira,

Have you try the movieCard :

MovieCard_01....modifyed by CortexWave?

Because I have try it now and works!

Alessio
Cavallo Posted - 29 May 2003 : 23:20:31
On the movie card you mentioned,
(Using the film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" imported from IMDB)
If you look just below plot (in moviecard screen) it says
Tagline
"Far up! Far out! Far more!"
If you then export your database and look at the same place nothing is written below the word Tagline (Using the english version)
Romio Posted - 29 May 2003 : 23:12:22
What do you mean, Tagline?

Alessio
Cavallo Posted - 29 May 2003 : 23:07:02
Hi Alessio, I still have the same problem. It shows up fine but then doesn't export

Sorry, I found it Thanks for your quick response I can still find a lot of new things in EMM!

Robert.

Hi Maurice,

The problem with Pictures is solved, but you need to wait the final (I will release it this night), because we have change the MovieCards.

The bug in the statistic will be fixed in the 1.6, I will release it in two weeks.

Bye!

Alessio
