I've just installed version 1.2 build 3 over 1.2 build 1. But now non of the covers is asigned to the movies. Could you tell me how to solve this? Or mayby fix this? And i also have got a request. Isn't it possible to not always download the the full packedge but have an upgrate packedge instead? Because i dont have a broadband connection it is rather expensive to always download the full packedge dont you think!

Posted - 01 May 2003 : 04:41:40 I don't think an ASX can keep information on the codec of a media file.
An example ASX for "The Birds" (spanned over 2 CDs) might look like this.
<ASX VERSION="3">

<REPEAT COUNT="1">
<! e:\The Birds (1963) CD1.avi> <REF HREF="e:\The Birds (1963) CD1.avi" />
e:\The Birds (1963) CD1.avi

<! f:\The Birds (1963) CD2.avi> <REF HREF="f:\The Birds (1963) CD2.avi" />
f:\The Birds (1963) CD2.avi

</REPEAT></ASX>
Unfortunatly, the database wouldn't know know the stats of the media file (like codec, dimention and duration).

Yes, it's possible, but I don't know how to read also the information (like Divx for example).
Bye!
