hi
i have a problem with export of links. i get only an "_" (which contains the link), but i want to see some text (e.g. the link or a description). for standard-moviecard it works perfect, but not in the database :(

I'm almost sure it has to do with scripts. It seems the proxy is working; it says it is searching information; and it doesn't stop. I've tried update 1, 2 and 3. The only parcial success was with update 3. And it said there were errors.
And yes, i can get to the pages with my web browser with no problem at all.
Where can i get help with the internet access? I've read the forum threads, but couldn't find the solution to my problem.

This is a good news, this means that the new Proxy engine works.
I cannot understand why IMDB doesn't work, have you firewall in the server that block this website? because IMDB scripts Works!

Made a new database. With only 1 film (MATRIX). Tried cinematografo.it. The script began to work, and then it said to choose a title (schede trovate), or at least i thin so. But there were no titles to choose from.
So i think my problem has to do with scripts. It seems that the proxy configuration works. Where can i get help with scripts?

Hi,
It's strange that more than 10 Scripts doesn't work. Try for CINEMATOGRAFO.IT, with a title like Matrix, it works perfectly.

Ok, now it's downloading something. I guess the problem has to do with the scripts. Do you know of any script that doesn't have problem downloading, that is, where the web page is correct? I've tried more than 10, managed to download 1 web link and 1 cover (shouldn't the cover appear automatically in the film view), and not many more.

Started from scratch.
Downloaded the program again; installed it from the beginning; and started it.
Every time i start XMM i have to input the proxy information; yes, i ask XMM to save the information.
And it doesn't download any information. And yes, it shows, if i wish, the correct web page.
What should i do to gei it right?

Yes, the proxy information is correct. But XMM crashes, and it doesn't save the proxy information (that is, the next time i run it i have to imput the same information).
What i find strange is that the download monitor shows that it is indeed downloading lots of information (hundreds of Kbs). But then it crashes, and i have to restart. And in the main window i see that it is getting errors.
I'll further check into this problem. Maybe it's a problem with my configuration. I'll report back as soon as i can.

Didn't Work ?!
I have try it in a PC of afarm here that allow access only by Proxy and worked. This is really strange! 
All info you enter abou proxy are right yes?

XMM keeps being a GREAT program. And the support is the best i know.
If only i could use it fully. You know, i'm still stuck in the Internet acess, because, as i use a proxy server, there's no way i know of of getting my proxy username and password. So, i can't update the information in XMM.
Does anyone know of any way i can bypass this? Do i have to do the proxy authentication inside XMM?

You are right, I work to XMM especially during week-ends , because I am a student and in the normal week I can work on it only few hours each day.
It's not a good life, now that I think to that  , but I am lucky, because sometime my girlfriend take me back to the "real" life

Great program. And great new release (1.3 build 1).
Maybe in build 2 you can find the time to include method 3 of acessing the Internet. As it is, i can't acesse it, because i must give the proxy my user name and password. And so, for now, i'm very limited in waht i can get of such a great program.
Or is there any other way of acessing the internet? Can i login with another program, and use that link for XMM?

You are right, Isn't possible with this "engine". In the next release there will be the new Third engine that will accept also Userid & password.

The 2 text boxes i see are for setting the proxy name and port. How can i tell it my userid and password, that i need to access the Internet?
